![]() RAFT orders the dominant cut sets on the risk measure. Each release term is multiplied by the cut set probability to yield the cut set risk measure. ![]() Using the total inventory available of radioactive material, along with release fractions for each event in a cut set, the release terms more ยป are calculated for each cut set. ![]() Cut sets and their probabilities are supplied as input to RAFT from an external fault tree analysis code. RAFT calculates release quantities and a risk measure based on the product of probability and release quantity for cut sets of fault trees modeling the accidental release of radioactive material from a nuclear fuel cycle facility. A description and user instructions are presented for RAFT, a FORTRAN computer code for calculation of a risk measure for fault tree cut sets.
